Privacy policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026 · applies to Phone Number Extractor v3.0.0 and later
Summary
The extension scans web pages locally in your browser. The phone numbers it finds, the pages you visit and your exports are never sent to us or to anyone else. We don't use analytics, tracking or advertising.
What the extension processes
- Page content: to find phone numbers, the extension reads the text, links (tel:, WhatsApp, SMS, Viber) and structured data of the pages you open, including embedded frames. This happens on your device only.
- Found numbers (and, for exports, the page URL, page title and nearby business name) are kept in your browser's extension storage, only until you close the tab or end a session, and in files you choose to export.
- Settings (default country, custom formats, prompt counters) are stored in Chrome storage and may sync across your own Chrome browsers via your Google account.
The only network requests
- License validation (Pro users only): when you activate a license and about once a day after that, the extension sends your license key and a random device ID (generated on install, not linked to your identity) to our license server
pne-license.arkalys.workers.dev(Cloudflare Workers). The server forwards them to Creem (our payment provider) to confirm the license is active, and stores nothing. No page content or phone numbers are ever sent. - Purchases happen on Creem's checkout page, under Creem's privacy policy. Creem is merchant of record and handles payment details; we receive your email and order details from Creem to provide support.
- Uninstall survey: when you remove the extension, Chrome opens a short optional survey page. If you submit it, your answer and the extension version are stored so we can improve the product.
Data sharing
We don't sell or share personal data. We don't use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose, or to determine creditworthiness. Use of data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your responsibilities
Phone numbers you collect may be personal data. You are responsible for using them lawfully (for example GDPR, TCPA and anti-spam rules) and for respecting websites' terms.
